Lake View Elementary has been named a Palmetto Silver Award Winner recently by the State Department of Education.  For the fourth consecutive year, the school has been awarded the prestigious award of either Palmetto Gold or Palmetto Silver.  Created by the Education Accountability Act, this award program recognizes schools in South Carolina for academic success and improved test scores.  The school received a Palmetto Silver Flag to applaud their achievement.
