Sylvia Lovette Grimsley
Graveside services for Sylvia Lovette Grimsley will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Grimsley, 78, passed away Monday, September 6, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  She was the widow of the late Dan Grimsley.
Born September 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Irma & George Lovette.  She was a co-owner of V&H Grocery and later retired from Dixiana Mills, and Dillon Yarn Corporation.
Survivors include her daughter, Carmen Moody of the home; granddaughter, Dallas Moody (Bennie Lester) of Dillon; 2 great-grandchildren, Ethan Kyle & Miranda Leah Lester; special canine son, Booterball.
