Members of the student body and faculty/staff at Dillon High School met Wednesday morning, September 22, before school to observe the national “See You At The Pole.” The students used this time to pray for their schools, the nation, their communities and their families. The Dillon High School students were led in prayer by FCA president Rebecca Strickland. This is the 21st year of “See You At the Pole.” This annual event takes place all over the nation at schools’ flag poles. This is a student-initiated and student-led movement that has grown to over three million students since its beginnings in 1990. “REVEAL” is the theme for this year’s observance; the passage is from Matthew 6:9-13, which is often referred to as the Lord’s Prayer.
