On Monday, October 11th a group of alumni from Claflin Unversity of Orangeburg, SC met at the Dillon County Library to organize an Alumni Chapter for the Dillon County and surrounding areas.
Present at this meeting were Willie Dell McQueen, Corine Rawlinson, William Payton, Gail Manning, Yolanda McComick, Gail Blue, Dorothy Johnson, Victor Blue and Samantha McCormick.
Officers were selected from this group and they are scheduled to be installed on Nov. 1 in a ceremony at the Dillon County Library.
