The Friends of the Dillon County Library are proud to announce that the United Way has provided funds for 30 children to receive books for twelve months through the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
The library has 22 slots left to fill. Any child 0 to 5 years of age is eligible to receive this service.
Each month a new, carefully selected book will be mailed in your child’s name directly to your home until he/she turns five years old as long as you remain a resident of Dillon County. Should the child move outside the county, he/she automatically exits the program.
Parents are asked to visit their local library to fill out an application form and sign a pledge promising to use the books to read to your child.
