Services for Earl R. Gaddy will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Mr. Gaddy, 86, died Saturday, July 16, 2011 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Robeson County, NC, February 10, 1925, he was the son of the late Eros Bascum Gaddy and Flonnie Cole Gaddy. He was a longtime Mason, Shriner, and member and former chief of the City of Dillon Fire Department, and was a retired mechanic. He was the widower of the late Ruby Lee Hinson Gaddy.
Survivors include his daughters, Brenda Gaddy Moore (Terry) of Hemingway, and Diane Gaddy Cooper (Ricky) of Dillon; grandchildren, Brandi Moore, Ashley Moore, Casey Cooper, and Cody Cooper; great-grandchildren, Braydin Moore and Kirra Cooper.
