Porky’s Truck Stop, located at South of the Border, was robbed around 9 p.m. on Saturday night, according to Detective Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office. Arnette said the clerk was shot during the incident. The clerk was alive when he was transported to McLeod Medical Center-Dillon, Arnette said. When The Herald left the scene shortly after midnight, Dillon County Sheriff’s deputies were waiting for SLED Crime Scene to arrive. See Tuesday’s paper for more information.
