Lake View’s Lady Wild Gators took losses to Johnsonville and Fairmont in the past week.

Lake View hosted Johnsonville on Thursday, October 6, and was swept by the Lady Flashes 3-0 with scores of 25-19, 25-21, and 25-18. Johnsonville improved to 11-4 and remained undefeated in Region 8A, and would go on to defeat Latta on Monday.

On Tuesday, October 11, the Lady Wild Gators traveled to Fairmont and fell 3-1, falling 10-25 and 12-25 in games one and two, and rallying for a 26-24 finish in game three. Fairmont claimed the match in game four as Lake View fell 11-25.

Lake View’s record falls to 6-6 overall and 3-3 in the region.

The Lady Wild Gators were scheduled to face Hemingway on Wednesday night and will host Carvers Bay tonight at 6:30 p.m. for their final region match of the season. On Monday, October 17, Lake View is scheduled to host Mullins in a non-region matchup. Be sure to come out to support our local team!
