Services for Patricia M. Bethea will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at East Dillon Baptist Church with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Mrs. Bethea, 70, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Dillon County, March 3, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William Robert McCormick and Ida Rising McCormick. She was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church, and was retired from the Dillon County Treasurer’s Office.
Survivors include her husband, Phil Bethea of Dillon; sons, Bobby Bethea of Charleston, SC, and Tony Bethea of Athens, GA; grandson, Anthony Bethea, Jr. of Athens, GA.
Mrs. Bethea was preceded in death by her brothers, Carlton McCormick, and Richard McCormick.
