Charles Thomas Moore, Sr., 61, died Monday, November 21, 2011, in MUSC in Charleston.
Funeral services will be held 3:30 Friday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Piney Grove Freewill Holiness Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, November 12, 1950, he was the son of the late Robert A. Moore and Ada Grice Moore. He was a member of Latta Church of God. He was the widower of the late Lori Moore. Charles T. Moore and Larry Moore were partners of Moore’s Used Cars of 412 East Academy St., Latta, and as the business changed into Moore’s Auto Sales of Sellers, SC. He was the lead painter and body man of Moore’s Auto Sales.
Survivors include his sons, Thomas Moore, Jr. fiance’ (Kensey Hardee) of Mullins and Brandon Moore of Dillon; sisters, Tonya Blackmon and, Melissa Owens both of New Orleans, and Shannon Davis of Rowland, NC, Sara McCutheon of Florence; brothers, Larry Moore, and Robert Moore both of Sellers, Ernest Grice of Mullins, Richard Moore of Coward, Thomas Moore of Florence; 10 grandchildren.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his brother, Junior Moore.
