Services for Margaret J. Parker will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in White Pond Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Mrs. Parker, 83, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Highland Acres Nursing Home in Lumberton.
Born in Robeson County, NC, July 23, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Thad Johnson and Annie Jane Hill Johnson. She was a member of White Pond Baptist Church, and was a Nurse with St. Eugene Hospital for many years.
She was the widow of the late William “Bill” Parker.
Survivors include her sister, Parnell Mishue of Mullins; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her brothers, Thaddues Aldon “T.A.” Johnson, and James Allen Johnson; and her sisters, Camelia Sox, and Mildred Howard.
