An older brother has been charged in the murder of his younger brother, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Arnette said law enforcement was called to Cashua Ferry Road in Latta on Sunday, where they found a 29-year-old man, who had been killed. Coroner Donnie Grimsley identifies the man as Bradley Dean Lane.
John McMillan Lane III, age 31, has been taken into custody and charged with murder, according to Arnette.
The suspect and the victim are brothers, Arnette said.
Arnette said he is not clear on the motive at this time.
