The students at Stewart Heights Elementary and South Elementary that made straight A’s for the third nine weeks were treated to egg hunts in recognition of their hard work. Students at Stewart Heights walked to the Dillon House with their principal, Jayne C. Lee for their hunts. The students at South walked to the home of Ja-Novice Greene-Richardson. The children hunted for plastic eggs filled with candy before playing Easter games. After games were played and prizes won, everyone enjoyed a tasty snack prepared by the cafeteria staff. A special thanks goes to the P.T.O. at both schools for sponsoring the hunts and to Ginny Moody, Jane Reaves and Inetta Robinson for assisting.
