Latta’s Lady Viking hosted the Green Sea-Floyds Trojans in the Class A Lower State Softball Championship on Friday. Latta pulled out a 7-1 win to secure the title and advance to the Class A State Softball Championship series.

Tonight, the Lady Vikings travel to Chesterfield to take on the Lady Rams at 6:00 p.m. On Thursday, Latta will host Chesterfield for game two of the series. If a third game is needed, it will be played on Friday at South Florence.
