Ft. Pierce, FL – Jack Arnold Altman, 83, died in Ft. Pierce, FL, Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Memorial services were held 11:00 A.M.
Graveside in Greenlawn Cemetery in Dillon, SC, Saturday, August 18, 2012 with Military Honors by the Pee Dee Veteran’s Honor Guard. Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon is assisting the family.
Mr. Altman was born in Dillon County, October 9, 1928, the son of the late Jessie and Annie Floyd Wallace Altman. He was the widower of Juanita Altman. Mr. Altman was a member of the United States Army and Navy, was involved in real estate brokerage and the thing that brought him the most joy was spending time with his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
He is survived by one son, Buddy Altman, five grandchildren; granddaughter and special caregiver Kimberly Williams, Ashley, Cassandra, Krista, and Jennifer and seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Essie Doersam.
