James Robert Jackson, Sr., 51, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Friday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Little Bless Holiness Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Born in Florence, SC, June 9, 1961, he was the son of the late Willie Jackson and Dorothy Mae Byrd Jackson.
Survivors include his son, James (Chasity) Jackson, Jr. of Hartsville; daughter, Miranda (Rodney) Wiggins of Florence; sisters, Brenda Caulder of Latta and Gloria Hardin of Dillon; 7 grandchildren, Nicholas Wiggins, Taylor Wiggins, Jeffrey Wiggins, Nathan Jackson, Haley Jackson, Erica Jackson, and one expected.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William Ronnie “Hawkeye” Jackson; and a sister, Carolyn Bailey.
