Mary Elizabeth “Libby”  Fuller Rhyne, age 87, of Asheboro died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Carillon Assisted Living Of Asheboro.
Mrs. Rhyne was born in Rock Hill, SC on September 17, 1925, the daughter of Charles Wyatt and Minnie Skidmore Fuller.  She was a long time resident of the Sedgefield Community in Greensboro and formerly worked in the retail industry. 
Mrs. Rhyne was of Methodist faith and a forward thinker.  She enjoyed traveling, painting, gourmet cooking and was an avid golfer.  She was loved by all and will be truly missed.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Carlton Rhyne, Sr. and a sister: JoAnn F. Black.
She is survived by her daughter: Lizabeth “Lisa” Elvington and her husband Jamie of Dillon, SC and son: Robert Carlton Rhyne, Jr. and his wife, Sherri of Summerfield, NC, two grandchildren: Eric C. Rhyne and Tyler J. Rhyne both of Summerfield, NC.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, 2600 Pisgah Church Rd., Greensboro with Rev. Greg Light officiating.
