Students and faculty at South Elementary kicked off Red Ribbon Week with a balloon release on Monday, October 20.
Mrs. Goings encouraged students to stay away from drugs and the people who use them.
Other activities planned for the week are a Poem/Picture Day with the theme: “My family helps me say “no” to drugs!”, Crazy Socks Day: “Our team will sock-it to drugs!, Wear Red Day: “Drugs make me so angry, I see RED!,” and Hat Day: “Put a cap on drugs!”
