Richard William Koenig, 65, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at his residence.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday at Floyd’s Cemetery in Fairmont, NC.
Born in Buffalo, New York, February 8, 1947, he was the son of the late George Koenig and June Pittybone Koenig.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the ietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley B. Koenig of the home; daughters, Teresa Bolen of the home, Tammy Ammirati of Dillon, Amanda Rogers of Florence, and Elizabeth Harrison of Orrum, NC; granddaughters, Kimberly Pittman and Lucinda Turbeville, Katilyn Richardson and Alexus Tadlock; grandson, Thomas Pittman of Dillon; great-grandchildren, Parker, Lucas, Kali, and Mattison.
Mr. Koenig was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Rogers.
