The South Carolina School Counselor Association 29th Annual Conference was held November 2-4, 2012 in Myrtle Beach, SC. The theme was “It’s A Brand New Day”. The keynote speaker was Dr. Stephen W. Hefner. Dr. Hefner is Superintendent of District 5 of Lexington and Richland Counties. Several area counselors attended the conference and include Jenise Bracey – Dillon Middle School Counselor, Dr. Miranda E. Manning – East Elementary School and SCSCA Treasurer, Dr. LaWanda R. Felder – SCSCA Past President, Dr. Hefner, Will Moody – SCSCA President, Jane Crawford – Dillon Middle School, and Rebekah Baker – Gordon Elementary School. Cequordric Page, son of Cedric Page and the late Latonya McCallum Page, was the guest entertainment during lunch. Cequordric is a senior at Dillon High School. Will Moody is the son of Bill and Rebecca Moody of Dillon. Dr. LaWanda Felder is the
