Several students at Dillon High School recently participated in the PSAT. The PSAT is administered to those students on a volunteer basis who wish to be evaluated on their scholastic skills. This test compares students on their college readiness skills, the same skills that are measured on the SAT.
The PSAT measures three basic academic areas that are essential for college success; critical reading, mathematics problem-solving, and writing skills.
Five students from DHS who took the PSAT scored above the 70th percentile. Those students are juniors Jacob Stagg and Angelica Park, sophomores Taylor Cribbs and Kallie McGuire, and freshman Myers Hamer.
The administration and faculty of Dillon High School wish to commend these students on their achievement as we continue to provide an environment striving towards academic and athletic excellence.
