John Lewis Daniels, 77, died Saturday, January 5, 2013, at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Funeral services were held 3:00 P.M. Monday in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.  Burial with full military honors in Riverside Cemetery.  Visitation was held from 7-9 Sunday evening at Cooper Funeral Home.
Born in Dillon, SC March 11, 1935, he was the son of the late Luther Daniels and Bessie Lock Daniels.  He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and Korean Conflict, the widower of the late Sara Frances Taylor Daniels, and was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Debra Kay Allen of Conway, SC and Sandra J. (Steve) Wells of Stedman, NC; son, John L. Daniels, Jr. of Seoul, South Korea; sister, Florine Webster of Dillon; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
