A man was shot in the leg on January 15th, according to a report from the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Ken Rogers and Deputy Michael Barfield responded to a call of shots being fired at Germantown Place. Residents told officers that they heard at least four shots and saw a dark colored vehicle leave the area. An unloaded pistol was found in the yard of the residence and matched a gun stolen in a burglary in Latta.
Later, a man went to the hospital for treatment. He was a victim, who had been shot in this case.
