Bruce Taylor, Jr., 72, died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. A native of Dillon, SC, he has resided in Savannah for the past 34 years. Bruce retired from the US Coast Guard Aviation as a Master Chief with 30 years of service.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Patsy Hyatt Taylor who is also a native of Dillon SC; a son, Toby Taylor and his wife Lindsey; daughters, Crystal Taylor Cooper and her husband Buster and Robin Taylor Nadel; grandchildren, Walker Taylor, Zachary Nadel, Julianna Nadel, Jacob Nadel, Parker Cooper, and Harper Taylor; his mother, Thelma Mobley; a sister, Thelma Ann Burns; and a brother, Johnny Taylor.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 3, 2012 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral service will be Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with burial at 1 p.m. at Georgia Veteran Memorial Cemetery.
