Mr. Duchry Spivey died Friday, February 8, 2013 at McLeod Regional Medical Center of Florence after an illness.
 
Mr. Spivey was born in Dillon County, the son of the late Clayton and Ruth Ford Spivey.  He was a devoted member of Lake View First Baptist Church and the Robert Johnson Sunday School Class.  He was also a lifetime member of Hillsboro Masonic Lodge #308.
 
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Lake View on Monday, February 11, 2013.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3:00 pm at the Church, directed by Cooke Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Lake View Cemetery.
 
Surviving Mr. Spivey is his wife, Mary Grace Spivey; son, Charles Spivey (Jeanette); daughter, Sharon Price (Reece); Grandchildren, Noie Evans (Marshall), Shannon Turner (Bruce), Bryan Price (Nicole); and Great-grandchildren, Sara Grace Evans, Spivey Evans, Lesley Ana Evans, Hope Turner, Clayton Turner and Cadyn Price.
