Rev. Lodie Charles Smiling of Dillon, the founding pastor of Charity Tabernacle Baptist Church in Dillon, died Thursday, March 28.

Funeral services will be held April 2, 2013, 2 p.m., at Open Door Community Church, 1502 Commerce Drive, Dillon, with burial following in Resthaven Cemetery, Floyd Dale.

Family visitation will be held Monday, April 1, 2013, 7 to 8 PM at his beloved Charity Tabernacle Baptist Church, Hwy 301 S., Dillon.

The family is receiving friends at 406 S. 9th Ave, Dillon, SC
