Services for Betty Frances Oates Jackson will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Andrew United Methodist Church with burial in Mt. Andrew Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  Visitation was held 6-8 p.m.Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jackson, 82, died Monday,  April 8, 2013 at the Pines Nursing Home.
Born in Dillon County,  SC, April 8, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Robert Oates and Eva Beaver Oates.  She was a member of Mt. Andrew United Methodist Church where she taught sunday school, and was retired from Dixiana Mills.  She was the widow of the late Earl Jackson.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Anne (Mickey) Miles of Dillon; son, Robert Earl (Cindi) Jackson of Floydale; grandchildren, Elizabeth Miles, Darren Miles, Ethan Jackson, Josh Jackson, and Shane McCutheon; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, George Oates of Myrtle Beach. 
Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her brother, Rufus Oates of Myrtle Beach.
