Funeral services for Kenneth Carroll Wise, 51, of Latta, S.C. will be held 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Bethesda Southern Methodist Church in Oak Grove.  Officiatiing will be Pastor Sonny Hall and Pastor Carl Freeman.  Burial will follow in Bethesda Southern Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family received friends from 6 on Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home in Dillon.
Mr. Wise, beloved son of Edith Mumford Wise of Latta and the late Robert Calhoun Wise, Sr. passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013.
Born September 7, 1961, in Dillon, S.C. Mr. Wise was employed with Vesuvius in Dillon for 27 years.  Mr. Wise was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved vegetable gardening.  He was a member of Super Tree Hunting Club.
Survivors include his mother, Edith Mumford Wise of the home; brothers, Robert C. Wise Jr. of Sunset Beach, N.C., S. Ray (Lynn) Wise of Latta, Warren L. Wise of Mount Pleasant, J. Kelly Wise of Latta, and Donald B. Wise of Clio; sisters, Betty L. (Douglas) Peacock of Blenheim, Ellen W. Jones of Florence, and Jean W. Peacock of Florence.,  He has 19 nieces and 7 nephews.
