The Bracey Family of Rowland, N.C. lost their matriarch, Margaret Elise Bracey, 92 years old, on Saturday, April 13, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Tyson Bracey; mother, Mary Huistess Richardson; and son, Tyson McNeill Bracey. She is survived by three sons, Gordon Allen (wife, Janis) of Rowland, Mitchell Lee (wife, Becky) of Mechanicsville, Va. and William Duncan of Homestead, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Francis Monroe of Laurinburg, Betty Jo Lau of Richmond, Va.; and sister-in-law, Sara Richardson of Maxton. Also surviving Margaret are 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Services for Margaret were held Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Rowland Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Rowland. Burial will follow in the Bracey Family Cemetery. Visitation washeld on Tuesday April 16, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Boles Funeral Home, 312 W. Main St., Rowland, N.C.
