The Town of Latta honored the state championship runner-up team with a cookout last week.
The baseball team enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers, and all the trimmings provided courtesy of the Town of Latta.
Mayor Nancy Brigman commended the team on how well they had represented the town and talked about the importance of the high school  to the community.
She wished them luck on pursuing a state title next year.
