Services for Linda Katherine Martin will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Ms. Martin, 54, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013 in Dillon, SC.
Born in Dillon, SC, November 14, 1958, she was the daughter of the late John Dewey Martin and Earlene Berry Martin.  One of eleven siblings, Linda grew up in the Dillon area and lived there most of her life.  Linda was a devoted Sister, Mother, Aunt and Friend.  She loved spending time with family and friends, and had a very special friendship with her dog “Sassy”. 
She leaves behind two daughters, Samantha (Andrew) Britt of Dillon and Tammy Rowell also of Dillon.  She was very proud of her four grandchildren, Patience Rowell, Georgia Sorenson, Faith Sorenson, and Samuel Sorenson all of Dillon.  She is also survived by brothers, Jimmy Martin (Gerri), Edward Martin (Lani), Clayton Martin, and Dewey “Kneebaby” Martin, all of Dillon.  Linda also had over 30 nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Dewey and Earlene Martin, sisters, Betty Jean Arnette, and Nita Curavo; and brothers, Thurston Martin, Donald Martin, and Hensley “Reedy” Martin.
