Services for Dixie Taylor Langston will be held Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in Dillon First Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitation is 6-8 P.M. Friday In Cooper Funeral Home.
     Mrs. Langston, 77, died Thursday July 4, 2013 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
     Born in Florence County, August 16, 1935 she  was the daughter of the late George Kent Taylor and Bertha Jordan Taylor.  She was a member of Dillon First Baptist Church where she taught the Adult 4 ladies Sunday school class for the last 25 years and she was a mentor to the Dixie’s Girls YWA at First Baptist.
     Survivors include her husband, Marion Langston of Dillon; sons, Marion Anderson Langston of Dillon and Rev. Paul Kent Langston of Clinton, N.C.; grandchildren, Matthew, Aaron, Taylor, Kent and Jane.
