The Pee Dee Land Trust board of directors elected Douglas Lynn of Dillon to fill an open seat representing Dillon County. Lynn is Vice President of Dillon Tractor & Implement Co., Inc.-Case IH Dealership in Dillon. A graduate of Clemson University, Douglas passes on his love of the outdoors through his role as Assistant Scout Leader of Dillon Boy Scout Troop 761. Douglas also serves on a variety of boards and commissions in Dillon, including McLeod Health Dillon Advisory Board and the City of Dillon Tree Committee. He lives in Dillon with his wife, Valerie, and their two sons, Jack and William.
Mr. Lynn fills the seat of Charlie Vance, who stepped down in late 2012.  Also representing Dillon County on the land trust board is Dickie Sherman of the Minturn Community.  Sherman joined the board in 2011 when long-serving member Earl Dutton retired after serving two full terms.  The 21-member board includes two representatives from each of the nine Pee Dee counties and three at-large members.
