Richard (Monkey) Christmas, 70, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2013.  He was the son Forrest and Mattie Christmas.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; children, Liz Roper of Lincoln and her son, Will; Ann Tarr and husband Steve, of Omaha, and their children Schyler, Allison and Bethany; and Maynard Smith and wife Alicia of Omaha, and their children, Ruby, Lucy, Blake and Grace; and sister, Janice (Ed) Estridge of Camden, SC, their Daughter, Kelly (Ed) Kerscher of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and their son, Jack.
The funeral was held on July 1, 2013 at Bethany Lutheran Church with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
A memorial service in Dillon will be scheduled for a later date.
