Memorial services for Jesse James Gasque, Sr. will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Bermuda Baptist Church directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  
     Mr. Gasque, 67, died Thursday, July 25, 2013 at his residence.
     Born in Horry County, SC, November 27, 1945, he was the son of the late Elijah Gasque and Mildred Cooper Gasque.  He was a member of Bermuda Baptist Church and a member of the Brotherhood, was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, retired from the SC Highway Patrol, and was a Mason.
     Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Gasque of Dillon; daughter, Sherrie Gasque of Latta; son, Jesse James “Buddy” Gasque, Jr. (Anna) of Marion; grandchildren, Holden Gasque and Sam Gasque; sisters, Shirley Johnson of Marion, Curlie Norton, Fannie (Charlie) Ellis, and Sheila Gasque, all of Aynor, and Annie (Dan) Register of Conway.
     Mr. Gasque was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Gasque.
