The Mount Calvary Baptist Church Brotherhood, WMU, and BYU met on Monday, September 9 at 7 p.m. in the Family Life Center for the monthly meeting.

After enjoying a delicious meal and fellowship, the groups separated for their respective meetings.
David Jones of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church was the guest speaker for Brotherhood. His topic was entitled “Which Elijah Are You?”
His scripture text was 1 Kings 18:20-19:10. These verses tell the story of how Elijah brought the people back to the Lord.
As long as Elijah was focused on the Lord, Elijah was a “strong” man. However, when he was not focused on the Lord, Elijah was not in control.
Join us for our next monthly meeting on Monday, October 7, at 7 p.m. when Joe Price will be in charge of the program for Brotherhood.
