Dillon School District Four had five students that made a perfect score on their 2013 Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (PASS) test that was administered in May of 2013.
The students and their parents were invited to attend the October School Board Meeting.
Two students, Ryan Bethea and L.J. Jacobs had a perfect score on their English Language Arts (ELA) test, two students, Nizeyimana Aristide and Michael Jiron, had a perfect score on their math test and one student, Sophia El-Mahdy, had a perfect score on her writing test.
Mr. D. Ray Rogers, district superintendent, and Fitzgerald Lytch, board chairman, recognized each student with a plaque and donations from local businesses.
Three of the students, L.J. Jacobs, Ryan Bethea and Michael Jiron received special recognition for having perfect PASS scores two years in a row.
