Services for Virginia Bailey will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
     Mrs. Bailey, 77, died Monday, December 2, 2013 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
     Born in Dillon County, SC, February 11, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Blackmon and Bessie Cook Blackmon.  She attended New Life Assembly and was a homemaker.  She was the widow of the late Jessie Bethea.
     Survivors include her children, Carnell (Marty) Shelley, Richard Bethea, both of Dillon, Carol (Jerry) Tyndall of Hamer, Doug (Lisa) Bethea of Latta, James (Beverly) Bethea of Nichols, Lisa (Dennis) Moore of Florida, Catherine (William) Townsend, and Christopher Bailey, both of Dillon; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Blackmon, and Elizabeth Tyler, both of Dillon.
