Services for Jerry Leroy Hyatt will be held 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hyatt, 60, died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.

Born in Dillon, SC, January 12, 1954, he was the son of the late Roy Hyatt and Ida Mae Graves Hyatt. He was a Mechanic, and an avid race fan and car owner.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Hyatt of Dillon; children, Tina (Michael) Knight of Dillon, Lisa Hyatt Wilkes (Glenn Owens) of Dillon, Jennifer Hyatt (Bobby Jo Lane) of Dillon, and Bryan Owens; grandchildren, Haley Nolan of Dillon, Wesley Nolan of Fort Useus, VA, Cassie Wilkes, Joey Wilkes, Jr., Amber Lane, Nicholas Lane, and Dustin Hyatt, all of Dillon, and Haley Owens of Mullins; great-grandchild, Alaina Hyatt; sisters, Wanda Sanchez of Okeechobee, FL, Virginia (Charles) Johnson of Dillon, Joyce (Ronnie) Polston of Columbia, SC, Sarah (Frank) Dudley, and Bonnie (Terry) Blackmon, both of Dillon; 20 nieces and nephews; 20 great-nieces and nephews; life-long friend, Buddy Dean and Bradley Turner.
