Services for Grady G. Cooke will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.   Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Cooke, 78, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Marion County, SC, May 19, 1935, he was the son of the late Willie Cooke and Sallie Pridgen Cooke.  He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon, and Sunday School Teacher, was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and was retired from the Marietta Bread Company.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Martha Cooke of Dillon; children, Bryan (Connie) Cooke of Columbus, GA, Belinda (Tony) Rogers of Dillon, and Harold (Tammy) Cooke of Chesterfield, SC; 7 grandchildren, Lauren, Kyle, and Tyler Cooke, Ashley (Chad) Norton, Lindsey (Blair) Smith, Grant and Nick Cooke; 3 great-grandchildren, Kyle Cooke, Jr., Owen and Noah Norton; sisters, Margie Tyson of Lumberton, NC, and Susie Ford of Lake View.
