Services for Rev. Billy Dotson will be held  2:00 p.m.. Saturday April 26, 2014 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation is 12:00 p.m.. until 2:00 p.m.. prior to the service.
Rev. Dotson, 68, died Tuesday at his residence.
Born in Stokes County, N.C., June 1, 1945 he was the son of the late Arch Washington Dotson and Berchie Mabe Dotson.  He was a  Baptist Minister for 37 years, having served Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Herndersonville, N.C., Sardis Baptist Church in Latta, and Oak Grove Baptist Church in Latta.  He was a fireman and rescue member for 20 years and was a member of Pineland Grange.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Dotson of Latta; sons, Woody Dotson of Whittier, N.C., Johnny Dotson, and Joey Dotson of Latta; 7 brothers, 8 sisters, and 2 grandchildren.
