Services for Grace Benson Stephenson will be held 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hamer Church of God with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum.  Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stephenson, 85, died Monday, May 5, 2014 at her residence.
Born in Erwin, NC, September 24, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Glenn Benson and Josephine Glover Pope.  She was a member of Hamer Church of God, and was the widow of the late W.D. Stephenson.
Survivors include her children, Sharon Ennis of Benson, NC, Steve (Terry) Stephenson of Floydale, David Stephenson of Mt. Olive, NC, John (Anne) Stephenson of Suffolk, VA, Patricia Bryant of Floydale, Jenny (Johnny) Dove of Hamer, Kenny (Sandra) Stephenson of Dillon, and Mary (Ernie) Adams of Hamer; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Gaye Wilson of Erwin, NC.
Mrs. Stephenson was preceded in death by her daughter, Mireal Stephenson.
