Services for Elease M. Williamson will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Beulah Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Williamson, 81, died Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, October 3, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Fred Pate McKenzie and Etheleen Snead McKenzie. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, and was a retired Seamstress.
Survivors include her children, Ronnie Williamson, and Betty (Jimmy) Bass, both of Hamer, Diane (Donnie) Grimsley of Dillon, Larry (Sheila) Williamson of Hamer, Carl Ray (Beverly) Williamson of Dillon, and Bobby (Cindy) McKenzie of Hamer; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Maxine McKenzie, Margaret Polson, both of Hamer, Barbara (Ronnie) Graham of Florence, Janice (Jimmy) Hardwick of Dillon, Elsie (Roger) Hooks of Hamer, Sarah (Mitchell) Rabon of Marion, and Laura (Harold) Caulder of Dillon; brothers, Bryan (Rachel) McKenzie of Hamer, Carey (Cindy) McKenzie of Dillon, Eugene (Jennie) McKenzie of Hamer, Clyde (Janet) McKenzie, and Lloyd Turner, both of Dillon.
Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by her husband, Wattie Williamson, Jr.; and her sisters, Gladys Poston and Mae Turner.
