Ernest W. Rouse, 89, died Friday, May 30, 2014, at McLeod Medical Center Dillon. Funeral services were held 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Dillon Church of God with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  Visitation was 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, April 10, 1925, he was the son of the late Fryson Rouse and Cora Webster Rouse.  He was a member of the Dillon Church of God. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Louise R. Rouse of Dillon; sons, Paul (Margaret) Rouse of Dillon and Randy (Debra) Rouse of Latta; grandchildren, Stephen, Dwayne, Christopher, and Phillip Rouse; adopted brother, Bryan Hyatt of Dillon; 6 great-grandchildren.
