The 22nd annual Letter Carriers’ Food Drive was a big success in Dillon!
“Once again, our residents looked into their pantries and gave from the heart, raising over 5,000 lbs of food donations to fight hunger in our hometown. This was an increase from last year’s total,” said Tammy Elvington, Postmaster.
“Your donations will be used during the summer months by the local Helping Hands Food Bank to feed the needy, most of whom are children. Speaking on behalf of Helping Hands Food Bank, the U. S. Postal Service and the employees of the Dillon Post Office, your generosity makes us all proud to be a part of this community. We take care of our own!”
