The tour’s first stop was at Crossings Golf Club in Florence, SC, on Tuesday, June 10.
In the Boys 15-18 division, Dillon’s Jim Carr finished in second place with a 79, and Florence’s James McDaniel took first with a 74. Harrison Breeden of Florence finished third with an 81, and Justin Muller of Turbeville and James Shelley of Marion tied for fourth with each shooting an 86.
In the Boys 10-12, Lake View’s Dylan Rogers shot a 45 for second place. Florence’s Gene Zeigler shot a 40 for first, while Michael Hobbs took third with a 47 and James Potter shot a 49 for fourth. Pake June, also of Florence, shot a 51 to round out the top five.
In the Boys 13–14, Rylee Goff of New Zion shot an 88 for first place, and in the Boys 8-9, Jay Smith of Florence shot a 41 for first. Tristen McKay of Florence shot a 45 for second place. McKay’s family is originally from the Dillon area.
In the Girls 14–18, Lake View’s Ashley Rogers finished first with a 92 and Florence’s Ashley Miller shot a 101.
Dillon’s Brenna Miller took second in the Girls 8–10 with a 55, with Camila Burnett of Florence taking first with a 40 and Cayleigh Goff of Gable, SC, shooting a 64 for third.
Sophia Burnett was the only player in the Girls 11–13 and she shot a 44.
In the Boys 10-12, Zeigler took first with a 39, with Potter in second at 44, and Brantley Roland of Effingham in third with a 46. Arthur Siegal took fourth with a 48, and Dylan Rogers and Hobbs tied for fifth, each shooting a 49.
In the Boys 13–14, Rylee Goff shot an 85 for first and Mills shot an 86 for second. In the 8–9, Jay Smith shot a 40 to lead the division, and McKay shot a 43 for second place.
In Girls action, Ashley Rogers shot an 86 for first place in the 14–18, and Ashley Miller shot a 108. Burnett shot a 39 to lead the Girls 8–10 with Brenna Miller taking second with a 59 and Goff finishing with a 63. Sophia Burnett was the lone player in the Girls 11–13, shooting a 53.
On Tuesday, the tour played at the City of Dillon Municipal Golf Course.
In the Boys 10-12, Zeigler took first with a 35, and June finished second with a 45. Hobbs scored a 48 for third and Potter earned a 49 for fourth, with Tanner Stokes and William Phipps tying for fifth with a 53. Dylan Rogers finished seventh with a 55.
Goff took first with a 78 in the Boys 13-14, with Mills placing second with a 94. Smith finished first in the Boys 8-9 with a 42 and McKay scored a 46 for second.
Brenna Miller shot a 57 to lead the Girls 8-10, with Cayleigh Goff in second with a 62.
Up next, the summer tour will play at Governor’s Run Golf Club in Lamar, South Carolina, on Tuesday, June 24.
