Mr. Robert Edward Lupo, 74, of Greensboro, NC and formerly of Lake View, passed away July 27, 2014, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at South Elm Street Baptist Church with Dr. Lawrence Clapp officiating.
Robert was born October 17, 1939, in Dillon County, South Carolina. He was a member of South Elm Street Baptist Church where he was a greeter, usher and a member of the maintenance committee. He was a six year veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from Custom Industries.
Robert was preceded in death by his siblings, Elsie Lupo Horne, Jim Lupo, Agnes Lupo Stokes, Annie Jane Lupo, Aldia Mae Lupo Rogers and Lois Lupo Broach.
Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years Danielle S. Lupo of the home; his sons, David Lupo (Christina) of Greensboro and Edward Lupo of the home and his brother William B. Lupo (Anne) of Dillon, SC. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at George Brothers Funeral Service.
