Services for Marion Graham Carter will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Kemper Baptist Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Carter, 68, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Dillon County, SC, August 31, 1945, he was the son of the late Douglas Williams and Inez Wilkes. He was a member of Kemper Baptist Church, was retired from the South Carolina Department of Transportation, and was the widower of the late Shirley Carter.
Survivors include his daughter, Peggy Garner of Dillon; granddaughter, Shanna (Douglas) Stubbs of Dillon; great-grandson, Grayson Stubbs of Dillon; sister, Gail (Skip) Broadway of Arkansas; special sisters-in-law, Lois (Bill) Smith and Ida Mae Caulder.
