Forest Melvin Turner, 67, died Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Regency Hospital in Florence.
Funeral services were held 3:00 p.m. Monday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery.  Visitation was  7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon, SC April 20, 1947, he was the son of the late Coy Turner and Maggie Jane Blackmon Turner.  
Survivors include his children, Nathan Price of Shelby, NC, April Cain (Andrew) Floyd of Marion, Johnny Ray (Rita) Turner of Hamer, Eric Line and Deric Line both of Myrtle Beach, Dawn (Anthony) Murphy of Dillon, and Calie Rogers of Nichols; brother, Coy (Alice) Turner of Latta; sisters, Leila Mae (Jeff)  Fowler of Loris and Judy (Bobby) Jacobs of Latta; ex wife, Elizabeth Turner; 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret (George) Stone and brother, Roland (Betty) Turner, and a grandson, Nathaniel Price.
