Officer Bobby Jones has been promoted to lieutenant at the Latta Police Department.

Jones has twelve years of law enforcement experience having joined the Latta Police Department is September 2002.
He has spent his entire career in Latta. He has been a supervisor at the department for eight years.
Jones is the former fire chief of the Dillon County Station Two (Latta) Fire Department and is still a member having joined the department in March 2004.
He has a vast amount of law enforcement and firefighter training.
Jones said he would like to thank Chief Crystal Moore and the Latta Town Council for his promotion.
